“Synesthesia” Giclee Print
An exploration of displacement, memory association and object relations. The experience of synesthesia explores the sensation of “seeing” sounds, whether it be specific musical tones associated with certain colors or shapes. In this painting, I explore the hypothetical synesthesia of objects, wherein exposure or contact with a specific object recalls memories of contact with that same or similar objects in the past and future. It is a sort of “atemporal synesthesia”
